Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you shop with Optivue at optivue.in, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account details — your name and email address when you create an account.
• Delivery details — name, phone number, address, city and PIN code at checkout.
• Order details — what you bought, lens and coating choices, and the amount paid.
• Prescription uploads — if you order prescription lenses, the prescription image or file you upload.

Your prescription

A prescription is health information and we treat it that way. It is used only to make your lenses. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for anything other than fulfilling your order. It is stored with your order record and is visible only to Optivue staff who need it to process what you ordered.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card number, UPI PIN, CVV and banking credentials are entered on Razorpay's systems and are never sent to or stored by Optivue. We receive only a payment reference and whether the payment succeeded.

Where your data is stored

Your account and order information is stored using Google Firebase, on servers located in India. Access is restricted to Optivue and the staff we authorise.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records, including prescriptions, are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You may ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete your account. Write to us and we will act on it within a reasonable period.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's storage to remember your cart and keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers.
